Defend As a student at Aikido of Central New York, you will have the opportunity to learn to defend yourself from an attacker.

Everyone Aikido is a system of self-defense that was developed in Japan almost 100 years ago, and it can be used effectively regardless of your size, strength, or fitness level.

Healthy Aikido, with its dynamic, circular movements, is not only practical for self-defense, but it is also healthy and gentle on your body. It can be practiced successfully by people of all ages.

Children We also offer a unique children's program that is taught by Jonathan Reid, who is a certified occupational therapist as well as the owner and chief instructor at the school.

Observe Please stop by and observe a class at our beautiful, newly renovated facility. We hope to see you soon!
